Trama
The story follows the lives of sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood who, along with their mother and younger sister Margaret, suddenly find themselves in financial hardship following the death of their father—whose entire inheritance passes to his son from a previous marriage, John, due to the laws of the time. Forced to leave their family home in Sussex, the Dashwood women move to a modest cottage in Devonshire.
